ANZAC tasks.

Room 12b , have made hardtack , newspaper covers , the gallipoli map , christmas billy's and more! 

We got given to chose from around six activities all about anzac. We are still making them , but some have been finished. 

I chose to do a 1915 newspaper cover , I added smudging to make it look old and old fashioned. I did have one story that was way before 1915. It was about a guy called fedor kelling who won a chess championship and it was his 2nd time. Then below him had his detail like age , lived for , name , surname and lots more. 

Then I did what it might be like on the back of a 1915 newspaper , with an ad for 50 % off all books from the war , and two stories from the war and one was truly in 1915.  

Here was the newspaper I made. I might of put too much smudging on it because you can see that some of the words are hard to read.

NZ money notes.

This was my work for inquiry and we researched about all the new zealand , new notes.

At the last slide , we had to create a $200 note , as you know that's not a real note and it won't be.

Menu - Food

In our maths time we started working on canva , which is a site to create a menu for work or just doing it for students. We created each a menu on it. We could call it anything we want , but of course it had to be appropriate to share. 

We made it up , but firstly planed it on a doc or a slide. It kind of had to have half kiwiana foods in it. We have been doing non - continuous text , used with addition , subtraction , multiplication and division.

Maths - shape tables.

Ok , so first this guy , jeff ,  wanted us to measure triangles and rectangles. Now , we are making them as tables! 

Using a protractor , we had to cut out two triangles & rectangles. 
To make the measurement right for the triangles , all the angles had to add together to make 180 degrees. For the rectangles it would've been 360 degrees.    

When we finished , we went onto google drive with the ipad and take a picture of our brillant tables. 

Two of mine are correct , but the other two aren't.  Maybe because of the size?
