Quite write: Gertrude.

In writing , the task we had to do was write a quick story based on a picture for 10 minutes.We had to include these five words: Fun , run , unicorn , Billings and santa. The focus was getting ideas down. The picture we had to write about was a big explosion and a pile of old cars , with people far away from them. 

The blue coloured words mean that they are the words we were supposed to use.  

This is my writing so far: 

While Mr billings was riding his pink unicorn away from the fire explosion , and the big pile of cars , he saw santa and his unicorn, gertrude went crazy. He loved santa. But the only reason gertrude liked santa , was because santa was quite overloaded.

Now you see , gertrude wasn’t type of normal horse , he could stand on his back two legs for ages. Poor santa had to have an issue with being kicked around like a really large soccer ball. Santa never liked gertrude , once he was running away from him and gertrude thought this was a fun game.

We watched a video about patty on Youtube. In this video a girl was being very mean to patty ,
saying horrible things to her face.

The message about this was: if you wouldn't say it in person, why say it online?

1st Writing Sample

A few days ago we did a writing sample, we could do anything we wanted to write about, and I chose it based on a human and a dog. It was our first, because Mr billings the teacher, wanted to see how well we do in writing. Here is my writing sample: 

Paws

Have you ever wondered what really dogs think inside their head?  I have , for ages.

My story.

10 years on.

“Come on , work!” I shouted in frustration.

Nothing went in place , nothing seemed to work. All this year , I wanted to make a dog analyser.

   

It almost seemed impossible , then all of it started working. I did an evil laugh. No! I'm not evil!

Overall , it did take me 5 years to master this , because i'm awesome.

I rushed down stairs threw it on my dog , wait , let me rephrase that , I put it on my dog , to see if it worked. I almost fell back , it did NOT!

She was walking around , red faced. I still had the cool collar thingy on me , it was getting quite annoying so I started to nibble the wire. “No! Not the wire!” my owner shouted , raging towards me. I dashed into the living room. “Here little doggy , I have treats…!” she whispered.

Ok , i'm safe now , I think?

Overall,I ran up and down the stairs twice before losing her,it was exhausting.

Never ever try to make your dog talk , they don’t want it to happen.   

Maths Place Value - Wishball

The other day we did a maths game online which involved subtraction and addition of place value.

A number was randomly drawn and we had to add this of take this away from one of the from one of the place values. We had to reach a target number using addition and subtraction in less than 20 turns. Here is the picture of when I had a go.
