In Room 12b, we have been studying on planter boxes.
We had to measure out with a ruler on a piece of wood. Some people had 1-2-3 pieces, others had 1-2 or just one. Mr sutherland had prepared us with some wood to measure on. We decided to go into 12a to do the measuring, considering since there were still some old tables left from when the old food tech was in.
As we were just finishing / starting our measurements, we had to do a school one for everyone to use.
Me and Yasmin were working together and we decided to do 15cm up and 22cm across, we then drew it out on the computer and then planned it out on a piece of paper. Our volume of the box was - 7260.
(This was our home one)
Then me and Yasmin were moving on to doing the school one which was going to be put out on the sheppard courtyard. We decided to do the same as our home one because it was quite a good size. After all the drawing with pencil, we couldn't see as clearly. So, we decided to use a sharpie to outline it and it would be more clearer to cut and see.
After finishing all the wood pieces, we went back and the next time we came the pieces had been cut for us.
Using nails with a hammer we built the box together..until..
I nailed my bottom board onto the side.
We manuged to fix it and now a lot of people have them around the class for putting in Drink bottles, pencil cases, headphones..
Here are some pictures of what mine turned out to be -

Herbivores are pretty much animals that dont eat meat. They eat things like - Grass, hay, berries, vegetables, herbs, flowers. Me and Yasmin worked together and chose a herbivore that seemed interesting to work on so we chose deer.
Deers are quite an interesting animal, we found out that they were a herbivore from searching up a list of them and finding it. Deer seemed to be one of the easiest to work on because all the other animals we never heard of before. (Apart from cattle , rabbits and yak)
This is a part from our slide that is very surprising and is a paragraph of smart information -
The deer family is quite large, with 47 species, and includes caribou, elk, and moose. They are cloven-hoofed and they are identified by their antlers, long bodies, and necks, slender legs, and small tails.
Here is our slide - (I think you'll like the thank you one)

Workspace - Relevance and Reliability..
More than a month ago , we were focusing on being critical on websites that didn't seem real , Mr billings found 5 websites. Some were not real , while others are not fake and are a real company.
Then , we made a presentation and put all our thoughts onto each slide. Some are quite obvious from the title..
These were what the 5 websites are called: The selfie shoe , tree octopus , Dehydrated water , The flat earth society and the dog island.
Here is my slide and my opinions about these websites. Enjoy!

Inquiry - Predators.
In inquiry , we are focusing on sustainability (Air pollution , deforestation , overpopulation). The topic we are learning right now is the top predators. I chose the red fox , one of the highest predators around.
When I was looking for information about red foxes I found this -
And -----
Jaroslav Cervený spent two years studying red foxes in the Czech Republic, and his team observed 84 foxes perform almost 600 mousing jumps.
When I was looking for information about red foxes I found this -
The red fox eats a wide variety of foods. It is an omnivore and its diet includes fruits, berries, and grasses. It also eats birds and small mammals like squirrels, rabbits and mice. A large part of the red fox's diet is made up invertebrates like crickets, caterpillars, grasshoppers, beetles and crayfish.

PE Athletics Pratice
When we were practising for athletics , we learnt some skills along the way.
Shotput - In shot put , you launch the shot by resting the shotput near your chin and shoulder as well as putting your hand out to aim. When you throw , you slightly tilt and release.
If you stand over the line , you are disqualified. When your ready to throw , your hand stretches out and you let go. After everyone has gone , the teacher/starter will blow a whistle to let you know that you can collect your shotput. Here is an example of how you launch/hold the shotput
Discus -
Discus is just like shotput , but the shape/weight/launch/hold is different.
In discus , you put your fingertips underneath the discus while the palm of your hand is covering the top. Your other hand will be resting underneath. (Make sure you fingertips are firm underneath otherwise it may be a bit hard to hold)
Since one of your hands are underneath , you will lunge down still holding the discus with your fingertips. When doing this , you will lunge down 3 times. On 3 you lunge fast back up. Once your up , your discus will be thrown.
It may tend to roll or bounce. But you're counted when it hits the ground , not when it stops rolling/bouncing.
Rules -
Boys - If they want a point , they must throw it past 10-11m
Girls - If they want a point , they must throw it past 8-9m
Here is an example of discus
Long Jump -
In long jump , you wait in a line for each person to go. You try your hardest to reach far.
When you are long jumping , never walk back through the sand. If you do it will count the last step you take before getting out. You have to walk off to the side.
If you really want to get far , you would have to go quite fast to slip and land on your chin. If you land on your chin , they will count from there.
But.. IF you fall backwards , they will count it from your head.
The best way to help get far , is too use your hands. Usually , you would jump into the pit with the foot that is comfortable to use. (Left/right)
Never jump at the end of the grass area (The ledge before you jump into the pit). As it can be hard and you can fall easily.
Here is an example for long jump

Inference picture
In Room 12B , we have been focusing on show not tell. We had to write a story by not writing any of the words that easily describe what we are writing about. Here is my inference story -
Can you guess what i'm describing?
- That frightened me from going down to the shore tomorrow morning.
By Henrietta -
Can you guess what i'm describing?
- It was a peaceful day , and we went to the place where there are tiny skin coloured crystals covering it everywhere. The children love to play in it. They build a city everyday they come.
- I just sit on my soft towel enjoying the fresh smell that floats away into the foam water. Sometimes a faint smell of fish appears.
- A big gush of wind blew past me. Bigger than the normal kind we get on windy days. I looked up and screamed. I saw a slight line of blue. Everyone grabs their equipment and runs away. I hear children screaming and shouting.
- The big blue block disappears away into the distance , as everyone calms down.
After late , on the TV everyone was talking about the stunning blue shadow that went past. Then , they even went to the area where it was about.
- That frightened me from going down to the shore tomorrow morning.

Complex Sentences
In writing , we had to write two complex sentences. One had to be embedded (For example: One sentence , then add more into a full and long sentence ) (Add the commas!!).
The other had to be subordinate (Example - although the unicorn like me , he did grunt a lot)
The sentences had to be based on a picture of a haunted house that had broken and shattered windows and it was very dark. When you were done you could get another picture and write them like that , but still based on the picture.
Here is my writing -

- The girl digged her feet into the sand like she does every summer , the sea is crystal clear , and she likes to play in the sand as well.
- Since the sun was out , the starfish curled up his arms and blocked the shine from coming in.
Rainy Days

- I sat on the curtain bench and watched the rain fall from the gutter as it made loud noises, the rain was heavy , and it looked like it was going to last for the whole day.
- Since it was raining , mum didn’t let me go outside.
Playground
- I woke up to the sun as the children happily raced to the playground.
- I woke up to the sun as the children happily raced to the playground , squealing as they pushed each other down from the ladder.
- After the children had gone , I walked to the playground and sat on the swing.
Forests
- Birds sang as I entered the forest.
- Birds sang as I entered the forest , flying from tree to tree , the river made ripples as the wind blows past.
- After a long and stressful day , I went into the forest. Social Dancing!
We had an extraordinary night at our school Social!
The only downside was that the fire alarm went off and everyone had to evacuate out of the building.
Luckily , after that happened , everything went well and everyone had a great time. I have to say that the line dances were the funnest out of all of them. I'm not so sure on the partner dances as I kept losing my partner and then I got mixed up.
My favorite line dance was probably the devil dance. We had competitions for who was the "Best Dressed" and whoever won got a lucky dip prize. Two people from each class , a girl and a boy would be chosen to get one.
After a lot of dances , we finally got to have some food. Sheppard was in charge of bring the food and hillary was in charge of bringing $4 along. Before we had food , we had to get a class photo with everyone's "Snazzy outfits" The night lasted until 8.30pm and started at 6.30pm. It was quite long , but pretty fun. Some of the line dances were called - Devil dance , Coconut cream , Red hot , Sea curse and shala lala lala.
What a night! (I think we might of had some photos and videos!)

~ Graphy Graph ~
In maths we made graphs for uniforms..
We made our presentation on prezi. It has all the graphs we created and information on them.
I made this presentation with aimee.
All the graphs have information on it about the graph and why we needed it. We figured out that girls need bigger sizes than boys. The lowest size for boys is 5, the lowest size for girls is 10. The biggest size for boys is 16 and for girls it is 18. (Only one girl is needed for the size 18).

Writing to Ms Beaumont
Sheppard has thought of a great idea to have in our eating area , it's a smart way to socialise and eat.
In room 12B , we all had to write a note to Ms Beaumont and tell her all the ideas why we need them , how we can buy them and where the extra money goes. So far , we are looking for four more of them (One has been kindly donated). Our eating area needs an upgrade!
Here is my letter to Ms Beaumont about them -

Here is my letter to Ms Beaumont about them -
Dear Ms Beaumont ,
The whole of sheppard have requested something that would be quite useful..
Our eating area isn't the best and it would be easier to have tables that sitting on wood planks , also you could talk to more people and not have to turn around. Usually when we sit, someone sits on the ground because they can't lean all the way over to talk. Having tables would make it more simple to socialise. Also, when you eat, you have to balance your lunchbox on your knees , and that's not that fun to do. If you don't sit on your tiptoes then the lunchbox slips off!
Most of sheppard are going to do fundraisers, not for the school but maybe do it around the community. The teachers planned that if each person got $10 out of their fundraiser, then we could afford around 5 tables. Luckily, one company has nicely donated one, so we are ⅕ away from getting this finished. (The company did request that they had their company logo imprinted on it). Some things to fundraise could be selling homemade foods.
What about the extra money?
We could use it towards equipment for the classroom if we have enough. (Use money maybe for whiteboard markers, ink for the printer in the library and more).
Here are a few more suggestions -
- Donate some to the canteen to sell more food.
- Work it towards getting more P.E equipment.
- Whiteboard markers for classrooms.
- Ink for the library printer ( If it needs more at some point ).
I hope you think this idea is brilliant. :)
Regards,
Henrietta, Room 12B. Magnets - Science Tech.
In science we have been learning about the uses of magnets. We have learnt about the capability of magnets, and the power that they have. Did you know that they are one of the only objects on earth which have the ability to move things without the being touched. Every magnet there is big or small, however powerful they all feature a north and south poles. There a diffrent types of magnets. Like: a horseshoe magnet, and bar magnet and more. We learnt that magnets power can go through objects like our hands, plastic, cardboard and lots of other things. We watched a video on the most powerful magnet in the world which was in america, and we learnt that magnets can also do things not so great in the world today. If you put a magnet near your credit card it can degauss all the information, it can also do the same with things like video tapes. It can also break a lot of modern devices if and magnets go near them, by attracting anything it can for you computer. Magnets have good uses as well as long as you are careful where you are putting them because of the power of the magnet.
There are ways we can show this invisible for because if you try and put the north pole of one magnet and the south of the other the will attract to each other and go connect together if they get to close. But if you try and put the north end of one magnet and the north pole of the other they will repel each other making the other magnet move around to stop direct connect unlike when you have opposite pole which attract the same poles repel. We learnt that using magnets is something that we probably will use everyday. We also got to use the power of magnets to have fun with as well. We play a duck racing game just using the power of the magnets which went through the tray, to a duck with iron nail in it, so that the nail would attract the magnet to it. So we could move the ducks along the tray, just using the common magnet.

In tech (science), we have also been learning about compasses and how they relate to magnets. We have also listened to a story told back in the old days, about magnesia. there is an island made of magnesia, magnesia is a load stone mineral; it attracts iron. A long time ago people used to sail past the island on their ships; the ship would crash and break down because of magnesia island, the iron made of the ship, and the nails, were attracted to the magnesia (load stone mineral) and broke the ship. For ages people predicted it was haunted and to never sail pass; until they discovered what magnesia was. Did you know if you magnetize a needle; you can create a compass!? And you only need a few things! Before starting; make sure ALL electronic devices are tucked away safely, magnets can affect your device if there close enough. You will need a magnet, a needle, a bowl of water and a cork, cut thinly. Firstly you are going to rest you cork on the water (it will float around, that's ok) then you will grab your needle and simply rub or swipe onto the magnet for about 10s all around. After that; you will place your needle on the top of the cork piece floating in the water, and boom your done now watch it turn north and the other side facing south! WARNING; make sure all magnets are at least a metre away from your compass, this will effect it; causing it to attract to the magnet.
In science tech , we have as well been learning all about iron in our cereal and how much is in it.
We watched a video about a guy showing us some iron that was blended. He used a magnet to guide it round. It did look quite like a black spot. He told us that the iron in our cereal is so small , you can't see it when you're eating , also it had been mushed into tiny , tiny pieces. Iron isn't probably what you think you should be eating , but it gives you good strength. It's mostly in cereals than any other foods. Iron is attracted to magnets , and the iron can follow it round. But if you put a magnet near cereal , it doesn't do anything. But , if you get a full container (Small) of water, the cornflakes (Or another cereal) follow it. Even if some pieces are quite small. Blending cereal is when you can actually see the iron. Some cereals have more than others. When you blend the cereal the iron is like a black spot. If you drag a magnet near the spot. It follows the magnet like it's getting guided or is strong and is wanting to be attached to the magnet. The earth is also a magnet , featuring a molten iron core. Its for the high high energy rays for a solar flare which is created for a storm on the sun. By creating a protective layer , called the lines of magnetic force.

Nucleation
In science tech , we focused on force of life (Push and Pull) the first day we went outside on the field to try the coke and mentos experiment. The results were
(1 mento - Height - 1.8m. Seconds it bubbled- 360 secs)
(4 mentos - Height - 3m. Seconds it bubbled- 180 secs)
(7 mentos - Height - 3.8m. Seconds it bubbled - 90 secs)
The highest was 7 mentos , the longest in the air 1 mento. Then , we watched some other people trying it out.
The is another experiment and its called the "Dancing Raisins" . It's on youtube.

Making our lungs.
In class we learnt about the human body..
For our inquiry tasks , We created lungs and for what they look like when we breathe. Some did green lungs , others did pink or red.
What you need:
- A plastic bottle (Mini pump bottle is used)
- Two balloons (Any colour)
- Sellotape
- Blu tack
- Drinking straw (You don't actually drink from it)
First you have the balloon and sellotape it inside the straw and make sure that it is airtight so no air can come through.
Then you cut a little bit from the drink bottle and cut off a balloon blow up tube / hole and cover it over the hole.
To finish this you put the blu tack on the top of the cup airtight and you are finished!
-The straw is the trachea (Its job is the passage from the lungs to the mouth / nose.
- The lungs use the air we breathe in. (The inside balloon is the lung)
- The cup is our chest cavity.
....And that was what we did in inquiry.

Maori body parts..
In te reo , we did a quiz to see how much body parts we know already. There was , hands , hair , ear , legs , feet , arm and loads more. If you got some wrong , they would be coated or covered in black. When we had finally got them all correct , we had to get a cartoon human base or body and put it onto a drawing and label all the parts onto it. This is mine and aimee's..
Below , you will see that we put "body" down the bottom because the body isn't in one place in the inside , its the whole thing.

Rube Goldberg Machine
From getting a simple thing , to creating a machine do it. Thats an example for Rube Goldberg machine that other people use as well. We tried it out and some took longer than others. The best team would have the longest time. The team we had was - Hudson , Finn , Paradise and henrietta. We had to bring stuff from home.
Everyone had to use the REACH values as well. Everyone needed to do something! It was our responsibility to bring the stuff we needed , so that tells that we also used the M in the T.R.U.M.P key competencies (managing self)
TEAMWORK was the main thing , because someone that didn't help , wouldn't get much credit if they just sit there and if it failed , everyone had to give spirit and keep moving forward.
Our first idea wasn't the best , and it was a problem because we were a little far behind , we took a few more ideas and suddenly we found a good idea and it would work. We had to go through redoing domino's , raging silently and holding the ball as still as we could. It was annoying , but we managed and did not fail.
Yes , in the video we got it first try , so now you know , that team spirit keeps everyone moving forward.

Useless Inventions
Nothing could ever be more useless than these ones that Room 12b have been writing about.
The butter stick , Shwepers , Shumbrellas and Handipants. They sound weird , and are quite useless.
Each person in our class had to chose just one of them to write and persuade the others to buy this invention. I chose butter stick , it seemed the most helpful thing that was there.
Here is my butter stick writing -

Here is my butter stick writing -
Have you ever thought of having a butter stick? Well now you can!
The butter stick is the most popular thing that is made from butter!
Why you need it , you say?
Well no knives are needed! Keep them for something else! Butter stick does all!
It saves dishes by no knives and its stain free! So the mother doesn’t need the chores, butter sticks are good in three ways - 1. Take off lid and butter on your food. 2. Put back on lid when finished buttering. 3. Slip back into pocket, and done!
So where do you put it?
It is portable and easily to slip into that little pocket of yours! It is much, much easier than normal butter. With no more heavy sticky butter, the stick has taken the lead of butter nation! Normal butter usually sticks to your pocket , but butter stick has the unique lid for all those trouble things!
Oh now you want the reviews? Interesting ..
People have had it and enjoyed it! They said great , and positive things about it!
(See , happy now? You’ve gotten those wonderful reviews!) They even insist on you getting it! Since they have been much easier than knives, butter sticks are actually 9.5 rated! Shame butter containers! Shame on you! Butter sticks are much better quality!
When going to get breakfast, and have some toast, they got no butter? Well luckily the butter stick invention saves everyone! (Well, only share if you want too.)
From all over the world butter sticks have gone viral!

HNI Speeches
In Room 12b , we entered into the HNI speech comp , and so far the three people chosen were - Aimee , Yasmin and Sophia. The rest of class still have their speeches , but three people share theirs at the house assembly. Then , Mr billings make a google spreadsheet for all the class to rate and put their opinion on the speeches that everyone had presented. Also , the topic was things related to the human body. For example - Immunisation , Snot/Boogers , obesity and more.
Here is my speech -
Do you see people coughing , sneezing or tried out? Maybe they haven’t had their immunisation. The people that can’t have it is either they are really unwell or have already had it done.
Immunisation is for letting your body know what the some diseases are and what they feel like when this disease comes to you. Some diseases are Rotavirus , Diphtheria and Tetanus. This immunisation will make sure you know what they do to you.
The vaccine causes the body immune system to produce its own protection against the three diseases. It is one injection given in the upper arm. Immunisation uses your body’s natural defence mechanism, the immune response, to build resistance to specific infections. If you have been immunised and you come into contact with that disease, your immune system will respond to prevent you developing the disease.
So , where do you get it from?
Well , everyone who is going to have it does it at school with the nurses.
Others have it done by their local doctor / nurse. Everyone needs to have it , but some can’t because they either got a reaction last time or their parents don’t want it.
So after all that nervous feeling , you feel okay right?
Well the common reaction you’ll have is just a sore arm for a while.
It’s almost rare to have a bigger reaction. This is what might happen;
Feeling woozy , a little sick , bigger reactions cause going to the hospital.
So , how can we help?
Our nurses are trained and ready for any reaction , if your woozy , they might help you with some water and sit for a bit. They are there to keep you company and safe.
So get out there and get your immunisation , much better to do it now then later!
Big reactions like that are rare , so you’ll only get a sore arm. If you get a disease without having immunisation , your body won’t know what's coming.. - Henrietta.

Hypothermia
In inquiry we had to focus and choose one disease and research about it. Then after that , we put all our questions and information onto a google slide. Here is my slide , also I focused mine on Hypothermia (Even though it's not really a disease) .

PE - rugby skills.
On Thursday, the class went out for PE.
They did rugby skills and had lots of pictures from it. They did the skill for when you are in a line and one person has the ball and they pass it to the person a little behind them , then that person does it again.
The next person each not with the ball has to be a little bit behind them to pass. They move down the field going to the end person back to the first person that had the ball.
Everyone had a go, and five people were each in a line going down to the end of the field.
I was unfortunately , not there to actually try the game but I knew how to play it though.
Here was a picture that was taken during this rugby skill.

Google shortcuts.
Google shortcuts are easy ways to find things you want quick on google search bar.
Some are really good to use if your doing or working on scanning in reading tasks and you need to find something.
Here are a few really helpful shortcuts to use:
1: Use the minus sign to eliminate results containing certain words
You’ll want to eliminate results with certain words if you’re trying to search for a term that’s generating a lot of results that aren’t of interest to you. Figure out what terms you’re not interested in (e.g. jaguar -car) and re-run the search.

2: Use an asterisk within quotes to specify unknown or variable words
Here’s a lesser known trick: searching a phrase in quotes with an asterisk replacing a word will search all variations of that phrase. It’s helpful if you’re trying to determine a song from its lyrics, but you couldn’t make out the entire phrase (e.g. “imagine all the * living for today”), or if you’re trying to find all forms of an expression (e.g. “* is thicker than water”).
3: Use quotes to search for an exact phrase
This one’s a well-known, simple trick: searching a phrase in quotes will yield only pages with the same words in the same order as what’s in the quotes. It’s one of the most vital search tips, especially useful if you’re trying to find results containing a specific a phrase.
If you search up motto and 11 google tricks on it , these tricks will appear. These tricks all work.

First day at electronics
Today was my first day at Electronics. I looked at the get ready get thru website and learned how to be prepared for an emergency.
It said that I should have a torch with spare batteries and a radio with spare batteries as well.
We needed food and water to last us for 3 days , they had to be canned or long lasting food. If they weren't then we would have to either not be able to keep them for long or just eat them up instead of saving them to last.
Then , we watched get ready get thru clips. They showed us to be ready and prepared for anything without warning. Families should make a plan for where to meet or where to meet after the accident.
Having some maths into this , we had to figure out how much water my family needed to last for 3 days.
My family would need at least - 36 litres of water for 3 days.
That was what we did at electronics for the first day.

Mu Torere - Traditional game.
In te reo , Mr billings found a game that was created ages ago when we had no fancy things like TV , money , video games and things like that.
This game was called Mu Torere.
There were not much rules , but to people who didn't know them found it hard to beat others.
So you had each four stones and there was a setup behind it and you would have to try and block the other player by not jumping over or passing them. First tries were found hard but when the other player won , you could seem to get the point and object of the game.
Every Time the player won , there seemed to be a stone always in the middle.
If you search up : Mu Torere or abg games and click it might appear with the rocks set up with four.
It might be more fun than you think..

ANZAC tasks.
Room 12b , have made hardtack , newspaper covers , the gallipoli map , christmas billy's and more!
We got given to chose from around six activities all about anzac. We are still making them , but some have been finished.
I chose to do a 1915 newspaper cover , I added smudging to make it look old and old fashioned. I did have one story that was way before 1915. It was about a guy called fedor kelling who won a chess championship and it was his 2nd time. Then below him had his detail like age , lived for , name , surname and lots more.
Then I did what it might be like on the back of a 1915 newspaper , with an ad for 50 % off all books from the war , and two stories from the war and one was truly in 1915.
Here was the newspaper I made. I might of put too much smudging on it because you can see that some of the words are hard to read.

NZ money notes.
This was my work for inquiry and we researched about all the new zealand , new notes.
At the last slide , we had to create a $200 note , as you know that's not a real note and it won't be.
By me!
Menu - Food
In our maths time we started working on canva , which is a site to create a menu for work or just doing it for students. We created each a menu on it. We could call it anything we want , but of course it had to be appropriate to share.
We made it up , but firstly planed it on a doc or a slide. It kind of had to have half kiwiana foods in it. We have been doing non - continuous text , used with addition , subtraction , multiplication and division.
Here is my fabulous menu:

Maths - shape tables.
Ok , so first this guy , jeff , wanted us to measure triangles and rectangles. Now , we are making them as tables!
Using a protractor , we had to cut out two triangles & rectangles.
To make the measurement right for the triangles , all the angles had to add together to make 180 degrees. For the rectangles it would've been 360 degrees.
When we finished , we went onto google drive with the ipad and take a picture of our brillant tables.
Two of mine are correct , but the other two aren't. Maybe because of the size?

Quite write: Gertrude.
In writing , the task we had to do was write a quick story based on a picture for 10 minutes. We had to include these five words: Fun , run , unicorn , Billings and santa. The focus was getting ideas down. The picture we had to write about was a big explosion and a pile of old cars , with people far away from them.
The blue coloured words mean that they are the words we were supposed to use.
This is my writing so far:

While Mr billings was riding his pink unicorn away from the fire explosion , and the big pile of cars , he saw santa and his unicorn, gertrude went crazy. He loved santa. But the only reason gertrude liked santa , was because santa was quite overloaded.
Now you see , gertrude wasn’t type of normal horse , he could stand on his back two legs for ages. Poor santa had to have an issue with being kicked around like a really large soccer ball. Santa never liked gertrude , once he was running away from him and gertrude thought this was a fun game. Tuesday, 16 February 2016
Cyber Safety Word Cloud
We watched a video about patty on Youtube. In this video a girl was being very mean to patty ,
saying horrible things to her face.
The message about this was: if you wouldn't say it in person, why say it online?
Here is the Tagul I made.

1st Writing Sample
A few days ago we did a writing sample, we could do anything we wanted to write about, and I chose it based on a human and a dog. It was our first, because Mr billings the teacher, wanted to see how well we do in writing. Here is my writing sample:
Paws
Have you ever wondered what really dogs think inside their head? I have , for ages.
My story.
10 years on.
“Come on , work!” I shouted in frustration.
Nothing went in place , nothing seemed to work. All this year , I wanted to make a dog analyser.
It almost seemed impossible , then all of it started working. I did an evil laugh. No! I'm not evil!
Overall , it did take me 5 years to master this , because i'm awesome.
I rushed down stairs threw it on my dog , wait , let me rephrase that , I put it on my dog , to see if it worked. I almost fell back , it did NOT!
Dog's story.
12 mins on.
Hmm… What is this?
She was walking around , red faced. I still had the cool collar thingy on me , it was getting quite annoying so I started to nibble the wire. “No! Not the wire!” my owner shouted , raging towards me. I dashed into the living room. “Here little doggy , I have treats…!” she whispered.
Ok , i'm safe now , I think?
Overall,I ran up and down the stairs twice before losing her,it was exhausting.
Never ever try to make your dog talk , they don’t want it to happen.
