Inquiry - Predators.

In inquiry , we are focusing on sustainability (Air pollution , deforestation , overpopulation). The topic we are learning right now is the top predators. I chose the red fox , one of the highest predators around.

When I was looking for information about red foxes I found this - 

The red fox eats a wide variety of foods. It is an omnivore and its diet includes fruits, berries, and grasses. It also eats birds and small mammals like squirrels, rabbits and mice. A large part of the red fox's diet is made up invertebrates like crickets, caterpillars,grasshoppers, beetles and crayfish.

Jaroslav Cervený spent two years studying red foxes in the Czech Republic, and his team observed 84 foxes perform almost 600 mousing jumps.
